About Dr. Math
My name is Dr. Math (sometimes known as Kenneth Hunter). I am the 6th grade and Consumer Math teacher at Inspire Connections Academy. I also teach multiple courses for Empower. I absolutely love math and find it incredibly important. Don't let anybody tell you that you don't use math everyday!!
I was born and raised in Boise, ID where I still live. When I am not teaching, I enjoy the outdoors by mountain climbing, hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, mountain biking, snowboarding and doing just about anything I can. I am also a big sports fan and a die hard fan of the Chicago Cubs. EDUCATION

NASA
From 2014 to 2017, I was a member of a NASA research team. The research program that I participated in was called FINESSE. It was a geological study of specific lava flow and geologic formations on earth to be compared to specific Martian landscapes. We also tested several different types of equipment in preparation for the future manned missions to Mars. More information on the FINESSE program can be found using this link. NASA - FINESSE The program is currently paused as some changes in the leaders is taking place. |
